Specialized Leadership. Licensed Remediation. Regional Reach

Medically Important Remediation requires more than a standard mold-remediation approach. It requires detailed project management, disciplined remediation procedures, clear documentation, communication with environmental professionals, and the ability to coordinate qualified resources wherever the project is located.

Every Gulf Coast MIR project is managed from initial consultation through completion by Jagger Goza, a MIR/CIRS Remediation Certified professional and experienced restoration operations manager.

Behind Jagger is the licensed restoration infrastructure of SERVPRO of West Pensacola, led by Steve Stone, along with access to a network of experienced, independently owned SERVPRO franchises that can provide qualified local production resources for projects throughout Florida, the Gulf Coast and the Southeast.

Jagger Goza serves as the lead project manager for Gulf Coast MIR and personally manages MIR/CIRS remediation projects from the initial consultation through project completion.

As Operations Manager for SERVPRO of West Pensacola, Jagger has extensive hands-on experience managing water damage, structural drying, mold remediation and complex restoration projects. His responsibilities include evaluating project conditions, developing scopes of work, estimating, scheduling, coordinating production teams, monitoring job progress, maintaining quality control and communicating with customers and other professionals involved in the project.

Jagger also holds IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has specialized training in Medically Important Remediation and CIRS-aware remediation practices.

For Gulf Coast MIR clients, Jagger provides a single point of accountability throughout the remediation process. When a project involves a physician, mold assessor, indoor environmental professional, industrial hygienist or other consultant, Jagger coordinates the remediation work with the project's environmental objectives and written protocols when provided.

His role is not simply to schedule a remediation crew. His responsibility is to manage the details of the project and help ensure that the remediation process is carried out with the containment, source removal, HEPA filtration, detailed cleaning, documentation and quality-control procedures expected in a medically sensitive project.

Steve Stone is the owner of SERVPRO of West Pensacola and provides the licensed restoration infrastructure, technical experience and operational resources supporting Gulf Coast MIR projects.

Steve has worked in professional restoration since 2013 and holds extensive credentials related to water-damaged buildings, mold remediation, structural drying, indoor environmental conditions and reconstruction.

His credentials include:

  • Florida Mold Remediator — MRSR 2768
  • Florida Mold Assessor — MRSA 2587
  • Florida General Contractor — CGC1531256
  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician & Applied Structural Drying
  • NORMI Environmental and Indoor Air Quality Certifications
  • EPA Lead Renovator Certification
  • MIR/CIRS Remediation Training

Under Steve's leadership, SERVPRO of West Pensacola provides the personnel, equipment, containment systems, HEPA filtration, structural drying capabilities, cleaning resources, documentation systems and reconstruction experience required to execute complex remediation projects.

For Gulf Coast MIR, Steve and SERVPRO of West Pensacola provide the licensed and operational foundation that allows Jagger to manage medically important remediation projects with substantially greater resources than a small specialty remediation company could typically provide on its own.

While Steve holds a Florida Mold Assessor license, Gulf Coast MIR and SERVPRO of West Pensacola focus exclusively on remediation and restoration and do not advertise or provide mold assessment services. Steve's assessor credential provides additional technical knowledge that helps our team understand assessment reports, laboratory findings, remediation protocols and verification requirements and explain how those findings relate to the remediation process.

How Gulf Coast MIR Works

One Specialized Project Manager. A Much Larger Restoration Infrastructure.

Gulf Coast MIR is designed to combine specialized MIR/CIRS project management with professional restoration infrastructure and regional production capability.

1. Every Project Starts With Jagger

Whether the initial call comes from a homeowner, physician, patient advocate, mold assessor, indoor environmental professional or property manager, the MIR/CIRS process begins with Jagger Goza.

Jagger reviews the situation, available environmental reports, testing, remediation protocols and property conditions to determine the appropriate next steps.

Jagger remains the MIR/CIRS project manager from the initial consultation through completion.

2. The Environmental Scope Is Established

Medically Important Remediation is often a collaborative process.

When a client is working with a mold assessor, indoor environmental professional, industrial hygienist, physician or other consultant, Gulf Coast MIR can coordinate the remediation around the environmental professional's findings and written remediation protocol.

Our role is environmental remediation of the building. We do not diagnose medical conditions, provide medical treatment or guarantee health outcomes.

When independent assessment, testing or post-remediation verification is appropriate or required, those services can be performed by qualified third-party environmental professionals.

3. The Right Production Resources Are Assigned

Once the scope is established, Jagger coordinates the personnel, equipment and resources necessary to complete the remediation.

For projects in Northwest Florida, those resources can include SERVPRO of West Pensacola, operating under the leadership and applicable Florida licensing of Steve Stone.

For projects outside the immediate Pensacola market, Gulf Coast MIR can coordinate with vetted, independently owned SERVPRO franchise peers and other qualified local resources to provide the labor, equipment and logistical support necessary for the project.

This gives Gulf Coast MIR the ability to bring specialized MIR/CIRS project management to projects well beyond a single local service territory.

4. Jagger Manages the MIR/CIRS Process

Regardless of which qualified production resources are used, Jagger remains responsible for managing the MIR/CIRS remediation process.

This may include coordination of:

  • Containment and pressure management
  • Source removal
  • Controlled demolition
  • HEPA air filtration
  • Structural drying and moisture control
  • HEPA vacuuming
  • Detailed surface cleaning
  • Contents coordination
  • HVAC-related remediation coordination
  • Cross-contamination prevention
  • Documentation and photographic records
  • Communication with environmental professionals
  • Reconstruction coordination
  • Final project review

The objective is consistency: the project does not become a conventional mold-remediation job simply because additional local resources are needed.

The MIR/CIRS requirements established for the project remain the focus of the remediation process.

5. Local Resources. Regional Reach. One Point of Accountability.

This structure allows Gulf Coast MIR to operate differently from either a small specialty remediation company or a traditional restoration contractor.

Gulf Coast MIR provides the specialized project management.

Jagger Goza manages the MIR/CIRS process.

Steve Stone and SERVPRO of West Pensacola provide licensed restoration experience and operational infrastructure.

Qualified SERVPRO franchise peers and other vetted resources provide additional local production capacity when required.

And throughout the project, the client has one primary MIR/CIRS project manager responsible for keeping those pieces connected.

Project Completion & Reconstruction Coordination

Specialized Enough for MIR. Scalable Enough for Complex Projects.

Medically Important Remediation can require significantly more planning, cleaning, documentation and coordination than conventional remediation.

Gulf Coast MIR was created to provide that specialized focus without sacrificing the manpower, equipment, restoration experience and regional resources needed to complete substantial projects.

From a single residence in Northwest Florida to a complex project elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, the model remains the same:

Specialized MIR/CIRS management. Qualified local execution. Licensed restoration resources. One accountable project manager from call to completion.
